Position Summary The Director of Sales, Travel Trade will report to the Vice President, Business Development, Travel Trade, overseeing a team of four sales professionals. Responsibilities include leading, training, and coaching the team, achieving sales targets, analyzing sales data, managing daily operations, and implementing sales and marketing plans. Responsibilities Oversee daily operations of the sales team Manage a team of three Account Managers and one Sales Coordinator Monitor and analyze sales performance data Implement and manage sales & marketing plans Manage sales operations including contracts, ticketing, and reservations Produce sales collateral, host tours, and coordinate trade shows and client events Collaborate with revenue, operations, and marketing teams to optimize sales strategies Maintain sales processes and update SOP manual Represent the sales team in cross-department projects Oversee reservations and customer inquiries Coordinate sales meetings and report generation Utilize market knowledge to improve sales processes Identify emerging trends and adjust strategies accordingly Provide coaching and sales training Support system updates and system training for the sales team Success Metrics Team productivity, motivation, goal achievement, and performance against set targets, with bonuses linked to performance. Team Goals Financial targets include NOI of 15%, Reseller Admissions of 45%, Reseller Per Cap of 15%, and 25% for subjective measures. Qualitative Indicators Accountability, industry connections, communication, client satisfaction, innovation, industry knowledge, leadership, and continuous learning.
