Maintaining the visitor management system, checking visitors, guests. Issuing badges and access cards and maintaining security logs. Monitoring a CCTV system. Vehicle and Foot patrols of the interior and exterior. Checking in authorized personnel onsite. Working a standing post for 8-hour shifts or longer. Ability to interact with the public in a direct and professional manner, strong interpersonal skills. TO SUCCEED AT METRO ONE: Have excellent interpersonal communication skills in customer service. High level of awareness, attentiveness, and alertness. Ability to de-escalate situations and remain calm in confrontation. Capable of standing for long periods of time and exhibiting physical strength. Astute observation and detailed notetaking/reporting. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a valid New Mexico security license or the ability to attain one.
