Product Verification and Validation Engineer (Software)
Location: Onsite – Ames, Iowa (50010)
Duration: 3-year contract - (Contract extension possibility OR internal Hire possibility)
Pay: Negotiable depending on DIRECT RELATED experience
Type: W2 ONLY contract (NO C2C OR THIRD PARTY)
Work Authorization: Must be currently in the United States with active employment authorization documents without Visa that requires sponsorship now or in the future. VISA SPONSORSHIP IS NOT AVAILABLE FOR THIS POSITION.
Job Requirements:
• Experience designing, developing, testing, or integrating products that were successfully delivered to production, especially electrical and mechatronic systems.
• Proficiency in the use of test lab equipment, data acquisition, and data analysis tools
• Experience in troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical/software/mechanical issues
• Experience working in a collaborative environment with cross-functional teams
• Demonstrated skills in the clear communication of technical data and project information
• Able and willing to be flexible in work schedule and travel up to 15% domestically
Education:
• Completed Engineering Internship(s) or college research related to position
• 4 Year Degree - Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
