Position Overview

BayCare Medical Group , the largest and most respected physician-led medical group in the Tampa Bay area, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a high-volume, well-established, and growing cardiology practice based at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa, Florida .

Highlights of this outstanding opportunity include:

• This is a new position to meet the community's growing needs, involving both outpatient clinical practice and inpatient consults and rounding. One office and one hospital location.
• Join a supportive and comprehensive Cardiovascular team including Non-Invasive, Interventional, Electrophysiology, and Cardiothoracic Surgery.
• Call rotation is 1:9, with one weekend a month onsite.

St. Joseph's Hospital is one of the nations Top 50 cardiovascular hospitals, recognized by IBM Watson Health. The Heart and Vascular Institute offers the latest technologies for open-heart and structural heart procedures, including complex valve and coronary bypass surgery, TAVR, MitraClip, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, vascular surgery, targeted hypothermia ablation for atrial fibrillation (AFib) and complex arrhythmia, and a complete suite of cardiac device management services. Annually, over 500 open-heart surgeries, 600 interventional procedures, 900 diagnostic services, and 11,500 diagnostic tests are performed, reflecting the growth of our nationally renowned heart program.

Qualifications

Position requires: Board Certification or Board Eligibility by the ABIM in Cardiovascular Disease and the ability to obtain a Florida medical license.
