Job Summary:

Brava Roof Tile is seeking an experienced Data Manager to lead the development and operation of our enterprise data platform . In this critical role, you will drive the acquisition, integration, and governance of data from key business systems into a centralized Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse architecture on Azure.

You will partner closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver trusted, actionable insights via Tableau dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in both data engineering and business-facing activities, and a champion for data quality, scalability, and governance.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and manage a centralized Data Warehouse/Data Lakehouse using Azure Data Lake and Medallion architecture (Bronze, Silver, Gold layers).
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from Salesforce (CRM) , QuickBooks (Financials) , MRP systems , and other internal and external data sources.
• Define and implement data governance standards , including data quality monitoring, metadata management, and data security.
• Ensure timely updates and high accuracy of data used for business reporting and analytics.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and deliver dashboards and insights using Tableau or similar tools.
• Set and promote best practices for data architecture, development, and operational excellence.
• Continuously improve data platform performance, scalability, and reliability.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate third-party vendors and consulting resources as needed.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related STEM field.
• 7+ years of experience building and managing Data Warehouses or Data Lakehouse .
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform , including Azure Data Lake and Medallion architecture .
• 3+ years of experience developing business reports and dashboards using Tableau or comparable BI tools.
• Proven experience integrating data from systems such as Salesforce , QuickBooks , and MRP systems .
• Strong expertise in SQL , data modeling , and ETL/ELT pipeline development .
• Prior leadership experience in roles such as Data Manager , Data Warehouse Manager , or BI Manager .
• Ability to effectively partner with business users and translate their needs into data solutions.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Delta Lake and modern Lakehouse technologies .
• Proficiency with Python or PySpark for data engineering.
• Familiarity with CI/CD practices for data pipelines and DataOps principles.
• Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics , Azure Databricks , or related Azure data services.
• Strong understanding of data governance frameworks and data privacy regulations is essential.

Requirements:

• Must be able to reach, stretch, bend, kneel and be able to stand and walk for long lengths of time.
• Must be able to stoop, carry materials, and sit for extended periods as required by the job
• Ability to lift, push and pull objects weighing over 50 pounds
• Must have a valid Driver's License
