Our client is seeking a dynamic, results-driven Business Development Manager to join their growing team in Atlanta, GA (MUST be located in North Atlanta) OR Kansas City, KS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving growth for the company’s staffing solutions within healthcare facilities uncovering retained/shared risk physician and locum tenen (contract) positions.

Responsibilities:

  • Conducting inside and outside sales efforts through cold calling, email campaigns, networking, prospecting and canvassing efforts to develop relationships with healthcare facilities uncovering retained/shared risk opportunities for physicians and uncover locum tenen contracts within all verticals.
  • Building relationships with physician and healthcare facilities, uncovering pain points and offering customized solutions.
  • Consultative sell, know your clients pain points, causes of the pain points and lay the ground work and how you can best position services.
  • Prospect and generate new client leads, focusing on hospitals, clinics, long-term care facilities, and other healthcare providers in need of physicians and locum tenens of all specialties.
  • Cultivate long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients, acting as a trusted advisor to address their staffing needs.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential business opportunities, industry trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Drive the sales process from prospecting through contract negotiation and closing, ensuring a smooth transition of clients to the operations team.
  • Work closely with recruitment, operations, and compliance teams to ensure client satisfaction and staffing requirements are met efficiently.
  • Create and execute strategies to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote brand awareness and generate leads.
  • Track and report on sales activities, revenue, and client feedback to senior management.
  • Implement strategies for customer retention, ensuring long-term satisfaction and repeat business.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Manager within retained/shared risk staffing environment within any vertical of staffing.
  • Strong understanding how to sell retained/shared risk staffing solutions.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Benefits:

  • Commission is 10% perm 5% of locums for life
  • 3 weeks PTO
  • Pay half the employees health insurance after 90 days ($730 for employee and $730 for co)
