Assistant Public Works Director - Lead the Infrastructure of Tomorrow!
As the right hand to the Public Works Director, you'll play a central role in managing and executing the city's Capital Improvement Program , leading cross-departmental initiatives, and ensuring the delivery of essential public services that directly impact the lives of Lebanon's residents.

What You'll Do:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and management of major city-wide infrastructure projects.
Review technical plans, analyze data, and ensure compliance with city, state, and federal regulations.
Shape policies, manage personnel, and optimize resource allocation.
Present to City Council and public stakeholders on impactful initiatives and improvements.
What We Are Looking For:
A visionary leader with a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, Public Administration, Construction Management, Environmental Science or related field.
At least 5 years of progressive experience in public works or municipal operations, with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering, municipal processes, and project management.
Excellent communication skills and a passion for serving the public.
Bonus points for experience with SCADA systems, grant writing, and budget oversight.
Additional Requirements:
Successful completion of a background check and pre-employment drug screening.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and emergency call-ins, as needed.
